The 52-hertz whale, known as 52Blue, sings at a frequency no other whale uses. When I first heard its story, it resonated deeply with me. It reminded me of moving to Sweden without speaking the language—surrounded by people, yet unable to truly connect.

That feeling of being unheard stuck with me. But in dance, I found a way to express myself. Dancers bring out the hidden layers in music—the beats and feelings others might miss. It’s how we connect without words.

Eventually, another whale answered the call, singing at the same frequency. 52Blue wasn’t alone anymore. That moment inspired me to build 52 Hertz—a dance community where no one moves alone.
