Popping has a broad background based upon thirteen different elements. We will be focussing on the core popping style, and how we perform the muscle contraction in different parts of the body. The pop technique, which you will learn from day 1, focuses on short, millisecond actions to the drum beats in the music, highlighting “on-beat” and “off-beat” movements.
Once established we will then target individual elements, e.g. waving, ticking, strobing, with the focus on establishing connections between the elements. We will have repitition of the critical foundations while advancing the dancing techniques.
